We are very excited about Magento 2. This is turning point toward offering greater performance, scalability and modularity. In the last post, we have shown you the differences between Magento 2 Luma Theme vs “Madison Island” Theme. Via Magento 2 demo front end interface, you can explore them with your own eyes in our Magento 2 demo store.

Magento 2 Demo Store Backend has striking changes of it’s interface. It’s not only look more neat and clean, but it also more user friendly. The menu items are grouped into different sections. For instance, newsletters and price rules are moved to the new section – Marketing. Magento 2 also offer Customer section that show all customer and online customer. This changes are aimed at improve the usability and make magento is more easy to use.

Magento 2 brings new default theme under the name “Luma”. That have different default color of interface compared to it’s predecessor. Now, it is represented more attractively in gray colors and a lot of space on the home page. Moreover, we have release 2 new magento 2 themes for free you can check via below link

  • Use Composer to install magento 2 and themes
  • Use Less for skin
  • Magento 2 is going to be release on November
  • Folder Structure changed
  • Theme phtml files and skin less/css in the same folder
  • 6 Checkout steps is shorten into 2 steps
  • Default magento theme is Luma

    It was a very valuable information for Magento users. Thanks for giving this demo it was very useful. And you have explained it in the demo very simply that anyone can understand this.

    I like the new UX, but personally I still prefer woocommerce.
