Ok, I see the problem in the slash in the query ‘{{store url=’deal-list1′}}’ it should be ‘{{store url=\’deal-list1\’}}’
We will try to check the import function and update for the module quickly.
 
For choose root category > page not found. Because the category are setting up for other store view  (For example: category was in store1, but megamenu menu item you choose it in store2, then frontend will not generate category link for menu item correctly => page not found). The solution, you should choose right category item in right store view for megamenu menu item.
